London Titans FC Player, Team Staff and Supporter Registration now open

We are pleased to announce that it is now possible for London Titans players, non-playing staff and supporters to register for the IGLFA World Championships London 2008 where we hope to repeat the success of Argentina 2007. Player registration is currently at the lower price of £50 until the end of the month, at which point it will increase by £10.

Please note the following:

• All players registering MUST be up to date with their Titans membership subscriptions at the time of registering. Players who have not paid up will be de-registered by the Club. We will be monitoring who is registering under the Titans’ club registration.
• Please do not register as a player unless you are certain that you will be able to play for the whole of the tournament, so please ensure that you have booked holiday from work for the whole duration of the tournament prior to registration (playing days are 24th, 25th, 26th, 28th, 29th and 30th August). The Club will, at its discretion, endeavour to “substitute” players who are subsequently unable to attend for unforeseen reasons. This will mean that they will not incur the IGLFA WC 2008 cancellation fee for withdrawing. Players who otherwise withdraw will incur the cancellation fee.
• We currently have one squad registered which means we can have up to 18 registered players. We will be regularly monitoring the number of players registering and if significantly more than 18 players are interested will consider either registering a second squad or fielding a second squad in conjunction with another club. If you are unable to register because we have reached 18 players please contact the Club Secretary on the e-mail address below. We reserve the right to switch players between squads in the event that we have players in more than one London Titans FC registered or jointly registered squad.
• The absolute deadline for Titans player registration will be 31st May in order that we can finalise our squad(s), though this date is subject to variation depending on levels of registration.
• If you have any queries or problems (other than technical queries relating to the registration process for which there is a separate IGLFA contact) please contact secretary@londontitans.com or inform the Club Secretary.
• Any decisions relating to player participation in the IGLFA WC 2008 under London Titans FC registered or jointly registered squads will be at the discretion of the Titans Club Committee, subject to appeal using the process outlined in the Club’s constitution.
