Silverware comes to London!!
After starting this season off with the highs of Argentina, the remainder has been fairly disappointing. As the season draws to a close it is therefore particularly pleasing and surprising to announce that those Titans who went up to Nottingham for the Ball Bois Second Birthday Tournament were part of the winning team and can therefore claim the Titans’ only trophy of the season.
In the event, the six Titans joined forces with local arch rivals Falcons’ players plus a couple of Leicester Wildecats to make up a team that consistently dominated the competition, winning every match they contested, aided by goals from Miller and Armanazi, and keeping a tournament clean sheet despite two penalties being awarded against them. Whilst the backbone of the team was the Falcons’ midfield, those Titans competing raised their game to a level rarely seen this season, and it should be noted that most of the players are not even first team regulars.
Squad (LT = London Titans, LF = London Falcons, LW = Leicester Wildecats): Armanazi (LT), Corti (LT) , Miller (LT), Reeves (LT), Rolfe (LT), Turner (LT), Kehoe (c) (LF), Patton (LF), Kerr (LF), Kesseler (LF), Green (LF), Connolly (), Cowell(LF), Minkov (LW), Farnsworth (LW).
