This Sunday Titans are at home to Birmingham Blaze, kick off at 2pm. The squad has been posted in the players lounge of the forum. There will be training at 1 for all those not in the GFSN squad (there is a slightly later start to training as there is a committe meeting between 11 and 1). Would all players please reply to the thread in the players lounge before Midnight Thursday confirming their attendance.

A big thankyou to all those that attended Thursday’s quiz night which was an enormous success. The event helped raise money for this summer’s trip to the IGLFA World Cup. A big thankyou also to all those who donated raffle prizes and to our sponsors, West 5. There will be another fundraiser in May which will include a performance by the Titandales.

London Titans have been asked to participate in some research on homophobia in football, which is aimed at assessing our experiences as players and supporters of football, be it gay friendly football, league, non-league, semi-pro or whatever.  We will be attending a discussion group on Thursday 5th February at 7.30pm very close to Waterloo station.  Details of the research are below.  Can anyone who is interested in attending (I am keen to get a few more Titans along) please go to the relevant topic in the players’ lounge section of the Forum; the Titans contact point for this for this will be Andrew Corti, aka Duke.  Read the rest of this entry »
