Forthcoming Titans Socials
We are pleased to announce a number of social and fundraising events for the first half of 2010.
Firstly, the Titans 2010 calendar has sold enough copies that we are in profit but we still have a good few left. As all 100% of the proceeds from further sales will go towards subsidising the World Gay Games in Cologne we have decided to organise a sales event and general social at West5 on Saturday 30th January; this is our first social of the New Year and what with the Christmas break and match postponements will be the first time we have been at West5 in a while so please show your support for the fundraising and our sponsor. This will be followed by further sales events in Soho on Friday 5th February and Clapham on Saturday 13th February and we hope these will make a significant contribution to our target of raising enough to subsidise everyone going to Cologne by £100.
Sunday 9th May sees the first Titans Family Day to coincide with the GFSN League game against the Ball Bois at Hampton and Richmond Borough FC. The idea is for everyone to get family down to see what we’re about with the added benefit of the facilties at the Beveree. We are in the process of organising a friendly for the non-GFSN players for the same day and venue so that everyone can play a full part in the day.
Finally, Saturday 29th May sees another fundraiser for Cologne, this time a quiz night hosted by the Rising Sun in Hampton.
