Titans Socials and Other Events
The Titans Family Day will now coincide with the Titans traditional Old v Young game and will be held on Sunday 2nd May at Hampton and Richmond Borough FC, kick off at 1130. The afternoon will see the GFSN Cup Final played out between GFC Bournemouth and Nottingham Ball Bois, KO 1315, before we head to the Rising Sun.
Cologne fundraisers will be held over the second May Bank Holiday weekend so watch the forum for more details. This will be a big multi-entertainment event and our biggest social of the year so put Sunday 30th May aside (and no work on Monday!).
The Titans AGM has now been scheduled for Thursday 10th June at the Lucas Arms near Kings Cross (http://www.gkpubs.co.uk/london/lucas-arms) from 8.00pm to 10.00pm. This may not be as fun as some of the other events but it is important and normally provides a lively forum for being nasty to the Committee.
We will be marching on London Pride again this year and it’s set for Saturday 3rd July. Volunteers to be body painted in yelllow and black gratefully received – Dukey and Alfie did a good job of getting their pics on websites and managed a couple of radio interviews last year so only for those with exhibitionist tendencies. We’ve enjoyed doing this every year we’ve done it so don’t be scared if you’ve never been in a Pride march before.
The annual Titans’ Awards Night will be Saturday 10th July at Hampton and Richmond FC followed by the usual compulsory debauchery as only the Titans know how.
