As we get our festive frocks on and start dreaming of setting that out of office for Christmas, most are starting to think about where to find that perfect, quirky gift for those special people in life. For that fabulous but hard to buy for one, London Titans FC are here with a charity auction and prize raffle stuffed full of festive and fruity prizes, all to be auctioned off by some cabaret royalty.
The auction and raffle will be held on Sunday 10 December at The Two Brewers, Clapham, with all proceeds donated to the GMFA, London's leading charity addressing gay men's health and HIV prevention.
Alongside the footballing side of life, London Titans FC is a strong advocate of community connection and charitable donation, holding a dedicated monthly club night, Ball, to raise funds for charities which support and engage with the LGBT community.
Last year's Christmas auction raised over £2000 for the Terrence Higgins Trust, and this time round the club is looking to do even better.
This year is the year of "the experience", as the crowd will get the chance to bid for a variety of unique and fun opportunities sources from across the community. If you're an inspiring performer, lost soul, or just need a bit of life guidance, you can win an hour personal mentoring session with Sinitta in her exclusive London studio. We cannot confirm nor deny whether she will arrive in full palm leaf realness. Bid and see.
Attendees can also win an exclusive chance to join cult fashion designer Philip Normal in his studio to design and create a bespoke shirt or sweater of their choice. If that's not your bag, you can win afternoon tea for two at the House of Lords with Lord Cashman CBE to set the world to rights over a scone or two.
Alongside the unique experiences on offer, the crowd will be able to bid for: a Victoria Beckham purse, an original Eastenders script from the 1980s, a £200 holiday voucher from OutofOffice.com, a Clonezone harness and selection of "marital aids", a bespoke broach designed by Andrew Logan, a unique framed design of Gemma Collins channelling the Virgin Mary Mother of God realness created specifically by illustrator Luke Thornhill, a 2 year free membership of XXL London, tickets to hit West End show Five guys named Moe, a White Company beauty selection, some risque toys from Bondara, and a signed shirt donated by London Titans club partners, QPR.
Alongside the high ticket items, attendees will be able to win cute and fab prizes from the raffle including: a £50 Aussiebum voucher, 4 exclusive VIP invites to the Chappy summer party, a large container of MuscleMary protein powder, a signed copy of Nigella's At my table, a £50 Balans restaurant voucher, tickets to the RVT panto Goosed, a selection of LGBT films from Peccadillo Pictures, a year's subscription to Attitude and Winq magazines, Sukrew's cheeky underwear, tickets to Miss Hope Springs at the Museum of Comedy, a signed copy of Armsitead Maupin's new book donated by Gay's the Word bookshop, a photobook of queer icon David Hoyle, tickets to the Ritzy cinema, and to round it all off a bottle of Absolut Rainbow vodka.
The auction and raffle will be held from 18:30 on Sunday 10 December at The Two Brewers, Clapham. The night will feature performances from Mary Mac, Sandra, and CK, with all proceeds going to the GMFA.
