London Titans kicked off their Sunday Sportsman League Division 3 campaign with a cracking 7-1 victory against Battersea Elite on Sunday morning (9th September).

Titans dominated the opposition but took nearly 3o minutes to break down a stubborn opposition, with Harry grabbing the opening goal. Two more goals, from Amine and Beal, cemented a comfortable half-time lead (3-0).

Matty Baker then put the result beyond doubt with a goal on 70 minutes, giving the chance for Tickner (2) and Ollie to come off the bench and round off the win with a further three goals.

Coach Luka Tuffs said: “ I’m not exaggerating when I say this is probably our best ever performance. We passed them off the pitch. The club should be very encouraged with the result”.

The club’s next Sunday Sportsman League fixture is on Sunday 23rd September at Riverside Lands against Lonsdale FC.
