London Titans Football Club
Welcome to the online home of London Titans FC, of the UK's biggest and friendliest LGBT-friendly football clubs
London Titans FC | Our Teams
With three 11-a-side teams, a weekly 5-a-side team and training sesssions suited to all abilities, we have something for everyone at Titans.
We have three 11-a-side teams - our GFSN side who play around the country, and 2 LUL teams who compete against other gay-friendly teams in the capital.
For those who prefer small-sided football, we have weekly 5-a-side sesssions or for those who prefer just friendly training sessions, we have regular training in London.
If you're new to football or haven't played in a while, coming along to one of our training sessions is the ideal way to get back into the sport.
Usually, we'll head to the pub afterwards to socialise and rehydrate.
Titans '2 Brewers'
The London Titans '2 Brewers' side take part in the London Unity League, a competition for predominately gay-friendly football clubs in London. The side is named after our principle sponsors, the 2 Brewers Bar in Clapham.
The over riding principles of both our LUL teams is to give all our players as much pitch time as possible, allowing them the opportunity improve their abilities in a supportive and encouraging environment.
As with the '2 Brewers' side above, the over riding principle of this team is to give all our players as much pitch time as possible, allowing them the opportunity to improve their abilities in a supportive and encouraging environment.
A friendly rivalry exists between our two sides during the season, with the derby matches always great fun to watch and compete in.
We entered the league in September 2006 and after 5 seasons of improvement and growth, we won the National League in May 2011.
However, the social side is equally important and for games away from home, which can involve round trips of 600 miles, we usually 'make a weekend' of it.
The GFSN squad is compromised of players from our two LUL sides (see above)
It's a fun, friendly session that lasts 1 or 2 hours in South West London. Places are limited, so please contact us first if you wish to come along.
Also, we compete in several local, national and international tournaments throughout the year. In the last few years, we have played in Iceland, Paris, Hamburg and Prague. The trips away tend to take place over a weekend.
